Sport Management
About the Department

Through the Department of Sport Management, students can earn a bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in sport management and prepare for careers or graduate study in sport. Students study marketing, management, communications, societal influences and impacts, ethics, and law, and gain hands-on experience in a required internship.
 
Graduates of the program will work in such areas as sport law, sport marketing, sport communications, sport business, and the social psychology of sport, as well as facilities management, public and private recreation, and more.
