Health and Wellness
Healthy Individuals, Families, and Communities

The possibilities of health are endless.

Guided by Healthy People 2010, a national health agenda set forth by the federal government, healthcare is now moving toward a model in which individuals are empowered to become active participants in their own health, as well as that of their loved ones and their communities.

If you want to play a leadership role in 21st century health, the Health and Wellness program at Syracuse University is the place for you to start. Offered by Syracuse’s College of Human Ecology, the professionally focused, 123-credit program leads to a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Health and Wellness and allows you to pursue a career or graduate study in the areas of community health education, health promotion, and other health-related fields. By the time you graduate, you will be a well-rounded professional with a solid understanding of individual, family, and community health and the interplay among the three.
