Maximize your potential and live life to the fullest! Open to all Health and Wellness majors, the Health and Wellness Learning Community will allow you to explore the nature of wellness and understand its role in your personal, social, and professional life. Focusing on the connection between mind, body, and spirit, you will learn about the seven dimensions of wellness: physical, social, occupational, intellectual, emotional, environmental, and spiritual. You will also learn to promote and enhance health and wellness through service learning projects, such as a peer education program on healthy snacking, conducted in the residence halls. Finally, you will learn about career opportunities, professional organizations, and publications in health and wellness and will get to know faculty and staff in your College. Through your participation in the Health and Wellness Learning Community, you will become an active participant in your own wellness and help to promote a healthy campus community.
